Bryce
Bilingual Defense Investigator (Indepentent Contractor); Portland DSA
Portland, OR
Hi there! My name is Bryce Sprauer. I graduated from the University of Oregon and the Clark Honors College where I studies International Conflict Resolution, Spanish Literature and Latin American Studies. I aspire to study law in the coming years, and in my preparation for law school, the National Lawyers Guild has helped me first, understand what exactly law school and studying law can look like, how to foster and maintain radical thinking, and continues to exemplify ways in which legal work can be collaborative, collective, and for the people. I am currently working as a Spanish-speaking Private Investigator in Portland, Oregon. So far, I am working on federal criminal defense cases regarding conspiracies to drug trafficking, money laundering, post conviction relief, covid-19 related relief, as well as representing protestors in federal defense and state civil suits against excessive force. I saw this conference as an opportunity to engage intellectually with peers and educators and to carve out new inspiration and purpose within the endless days of working alone in my bedroom-office... as you may know and empathize too well. I am looking forward to meeting and discussing more!
